The Opportunity

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work shifts. When and how this roster looks is up for negotiation, but it is a certainty that shift work will be a big part of the role.

The position revolves around leading and engaging a team to implement the business strategies required for business growth.

We're looking for someone to ensure that production and maintenance work well together - the relationship should evolve naturally, and this takes a special kind of leader.

 

Skills / Qualifications

As a fully qualified and experienced Engineer / related, you will have proven experience in establishing and/or improving predictive and preventative maintenance programmes. Driving performance in reliability, MTBF / MTTR, always seeking processing efficiencies as well as maintaining a culture of innovation.

We need someone who is able to lead and execute activities to support on-going continuous improvement, being responsible / accountable for work-site safety and cost effective management of the Maintenance function within the organisation, as well as being driven to achieve business outcomes.

Project Management will also form part of this role and we expect that the right person for this job is very good with people, and in being able to achieve outcomes as a team - planning, organising, leading and controlling.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong maintenance and engineering background, experience with contemporary reliability practices and CMMS use, ideally you will have had your experience in a food / beverage manufacturing company, and most of all you will possess a can-do attitude.
